Okay. So after I sat down and looked at the directions again for Isela’s toe-up socks, I had to jot down a few notes. I had to take into account that my sock loom is apparently not of the norm, and that with the 56 peg loom, there are 18 rows of decrease and increase, and with the 64 peg loom there are 22 rows of the same. Now I wondered which would work better with my 60-peg loom. After writing the whole dang thing out on scratch paper I think I’ve got the dang thing figured out. I ended up creating a spreadsheet chart to help me get it worked out, and I came up with 20 rows of decrease and increase. Once I put it to the actual work, then we can see if it really works out alright.
I know that what I just typed out above here is probably a little confusing for you… however, I can’t just give out the directions. Even though I had to figure it out on my own, the basic pattern is still under copyright, and it wouldn’t be fair to Isela to claim the work is mine. She put her own time and effort into creating the pattern, and I received it when I bought my EFG Sock Loom from her. So, please don’t ask me to pass it on. I can’t. I’m sure if you visit one of Isela’s sites (see list at bottom of this post), you may be able to find it there. I’m not sure if she distributes it for free, or if you need to pay for it.
Sorry, still no pics of WIP, but I can tell you its going to be pink and white… at least I THINK I’m going to put some white into it. Maybe at the heel and top edge of the cuff. When I made the yellow lonely sock, I just got tired of working on it, because my stitches were too tight due to the yarn thickness. So I made it a shorty sock. This time, I want to make them at least ankle length before finishing them off.

She’s really got some wonderful patterns! Lots for free, and more for sale. In my opinion, she has done more for loom knitting in the last few years than anyone has done in the previous few decades! Way to go Isela!
