It was a terrific day for our small group in Glens Falls, NY. We had eight people gather from 10:30 am until 3 pm. The distance we each traveled to get there varied but we all came from approximately a 40 mile radius of the park we met at! Most all of us knit, some of us crochet as well, but I was the only loom knitter there. One person raises her own alpacas and she brought a spinning wheel with her so we could see how to spin yarn.
Although thunderstorms threatened all day, they held off until well after everyone returned home. Already I’m looking forward to hosting it again next year, and some of us may get together again sooner! We were so happy to finally meet each other in person that some of us forgot to take out our cameras! However, we do have several photos we are sharing. And I put together a one-minute video of some of the pictures.
